Phil and Heather Tyo (PHT!) have been doing home renovations together since 2007, and they haven’t met a challenge yet that they couldn’t overcome as a team. After meeting at Penn State University, the couple married shortly after graduation and bought their first home at just 22 years old. It was a ‘fixer-upper’ in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, and there wasn’t an inch of the property that they didn’t put their fingerprints on.
Over the years, the couple realized they not only enjoyed doing home renovations, but they also made a great team. With Heather’s knack for vision and design and Phil’s extensive construction background and attention to detail, they began tackling projects for others in need of renovation help, and the rest is history.
The Tyo family now lives in the West Hills of Pittsburgh with their three sons and their dog, and they’ve left corporate America behind in favor of building people’s dreams and some great relationships along the way. When they’re not swinging a hammer or dreaming up a new master suite space, you can find them on the golf course, coaching or cheering on their three sons on the soccer field, or squeezing in some time at the gym.
